“I learn more about my own art from having people around me,” said Pierscieniak. “It happens organically. I look around at what others are doing. An artist’s life is lonely otherwise. We get the most value from the people surrounding us. We’re together, side by side, but work alone. We form professional relationships and friendships.”

“I wanted to become a member of the 100 Coombs Creative Collective the moment I heard about it,” Officer said. “I’m also a writer, so I’ve been to numerous writer’s retreats, and the community I’ve built from those brief experiences has changed my life. To be surrounded by other artists and creatives regularly now, in person, will enrich my life and creative practice immeasurably, and I feel so lucky to be here.”

”New project launched by female entrepreneurs in best interest of local artists will provide much-needed affordable studio spaces. A new communal art space is on the horizon for Napa’s Tannery Bend, set to provide a mix of workspaces and become a hub for the creative community. 100 Coombs Creative Collective, slated to open by October, will offer 11 private studios, a semi-shared ceramic studio and communal workstations — all available to rent. It’s a project its founders said was born to support local artists while fostering community.”
